The health and safety of our clients, their families, and our employees are ALWAYS our priority. To keep everyone safe from the coronavirus, our caregivers are equipped with the necessary PPE supplies required to observe proper infection/control protocol for hygiene.
HYGIENE
- Frequently clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces and objects using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Avoid crowds, especially in poorly ventilated spaces. Your risk of exposure to respiratory viruses like COVID-19 may increase in crowded, closed settings with little air circulation if there are people in the crowd who are sick.
- Avoid all non-essential travel, including plane trips and cruise ships.
- Routine environmental cleaning: All staff has been instructed to clean frequently touched surfaces daily and commonly used surfaces before each use. This includes workstations, countertops, and doorknobs.
- We are minimizing employee risk: Any employees who appear to be sick will be sent home immediately. We require that employees who have a sick family member at home be tested.
PREVENTION
Prevention is key. We have directed all caregivers to follow the following prevention procedures:
- Avoid touching public surfaces with your hands whenever possible, including doorknobs, elevator buttons, restroom surfaces, restaurant menus and tables, public computer keyboards, etc.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. Wash your hands often with soap and water frequently for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Wear a mask to protect yourself and others when you go indoors in public.
- Being fully vaccinated and boosted is the best way to protect against severe illness and hospitalization from COVID-19.

We review guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) daily and provide staff with updates as they become available.
